About PDF and Image conversion

ServPDF is a web based Microsoft Office to PDF Converter Server ( a PDF-Server) which can be easily installed via a Windows Installer. After the installation process users can upload their Microsoft Office documents via a webform and convert them directly on the server. Supported are all Microsoft Office 2000/XP documents. Another server application allows the conversion of PDF and Postscript documents to image formats like JPG, PNG, TIFF and back again to Postscript or Encapsulated Postscript. Since ServPDF 1.6 you can convert internal and external Word Hyperlinks to PDF on serverside. Many more interesting features can be used via the Word Plugin PDF-T-Maker.

•  Microsoft Office to PDF (From Word, Excel, Powerpoint, HTML, txt)

• Microsoft Office to Postscript (From Word, Excel, Powerpoint, HTML, txt)
• PDF and Postscript to Image-Formats (JPG, PNG, TIFF)

This server based conversion solution is developed with Python Server Pages (SPYCE) and can simply extended with Python code. And ... it`s open source.
